Russ Walker Appointed President of L-3 Cincinnati Electronics
December 1, 2011 - L-3 Cincinnati Electronics, an industry leader in infrared thermal imaging, space exploration, and military and defense technology, today announced the appointment of its new president, Russ Walker. Ohio Congressional Representatives Attend the Official Opening Ceremony of the Newly Expanded L-3 Cincinnati Electronics Facility
August 20, 2011 - L-3 Cincinnati Electronics (L-3 CE), an established pioneer in infrared thermal imaging, space exploration and military/defense technology, announces the completion of a 15,000 square foot expansion of its facility located in Mason, Ohio. The expansion consists of the addition of 8 class 100 (ISO5) chase and bay clean room manufacturing space to increase the already existing 230,000 sq. ft. facility.

L-3 CINCINNATI ELECTRONICS ATTAINS CMMI® MATURITY LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATION
March 7, 2011 - L-3 Cincinnati Electronics announced today that it has been appraised as fully compliant at Maturity Level 3 with the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) for Development, Version 1.2. The Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPISM) Class A Appraisal was conducted for the project management, engineering and support organizations at L-3 Cincinnati Electronics.
