Project Engineer
00MS in Engineering or Physics, PhD preferred and
3 or more years experience in a multi-discipline engineering design,
as well as experience with transducer models, noise mechanisms,
transducer testing, evaluation and manufacturing. Experience with IR
Focal Plane Array design, leading multi-discipline technical project
teams, and working knowledge of materials and their properties (optical,
mechanical, electrical), particularly across wide temperature
excursions encompassing cryogenic to ambient temperatures are desired.
The individual will lead the development of Midwave Infrared InSb
staring focal plan arrays (FPAs) throughout product lifecycle;
collaborate with Imager Systems Engineering to develop FPA
requirements, specifications, and test methods; work with wafer fab
during product insertion and lead the support of the FPA through the
product lifecycle; direct test method development and deployment;
design from inception of FPAs, performance modeling, model
verification and reduction to hardware, test to requirements, design
verification and release for manufacturing; support of the design
through the publication of interface information, specifications,
theory of operation and developing test plans to verify design; and
brief management on technical approach, performance, cost and project
status. Project level management responsibilities include resources,
scheduling, and directing project teams during FPA development

Production Support Engineers (3)
00ASEE or equivalent and 3 years experience. Strong skills in programming,
circuit troubleshooting, and technical writing are required. Ability to
interface with customers is also required. Background in
high-reliability Space electronics and test systems is highly desirable.
The individuals will be responsible for the troubleshooting of
electrical circuits and test configurations for space flight hardware;
providing technical interface for customer; and providing engineering
support to resolve technical issues on the production floor.

Program Manager
00BS in Engineering, or Science and 3+ years experience in a technical
field with a desire to move into project management. The successful
candidate must be able to lead cross functional teams in the design and
development of products. Must also understand the concepts of schedule
and cost control. The individual will manage assigned projects to
control costs and maintain schedules, lead project teams to develop,
test, and deliver developmental and low run items to customers. Will be
the primary point of contact with customers to ensure customer
satisfaction. Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a security

Mechanical Detailer
00ASMET or Mechanical CAD Drafting Degree and 2 years minimum experience
in the detailing of mechanical packaging of electronic hardware.
Detailing experience should be in the area of military and/or space
electronics. Experience with operation of I-DEAS, NX, and/or AutoCAD
design software is desired. Experience in the generation of mechanical
detail and assembly drawings along with supporting bill-of-materials is
also desired. The individual will be responsible for the generation of
drawing package and associated bill-of-materials representative of
mechanical packaging design of electronic hardware assemblies used in
space flight and ground support applications while under the direct
guidance of a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer. Must also be able to
coordinate mechanical documentation support efforts with engineering
support groups, i.e. Purchasing, Manufacturing and Quality Assurance.
This individual will report directly to Mechanical Design Engineer and

Research & Development Engineer
00BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, MSEE preferred, and 3-10
years experience. Experience in communication system design is required.
A willingness to be flexible and learn in a dynamic work environment is
required. Knowledge of signal processing techniques is required. ASIC
design experience is desired, but not required. A working knowledge of
basic RF design fundamentals is desired. A strong desire to learn and
good communication skills are essential to being successful in this
position. The individual will be responsible for the design,
development, analysis and troubleshooting of electronic equipment
developed on Research and Development (R&D) projects. The employee will
be required to work closely with other engineering disciplines including
system, mechanical, manufacturing and test engineers to provide an
integrated solution that meets all the project requirements. The
employee will also be required to work closely with business development
in order to facilitate an understanding of market forces that can drive

Test Engineer
00AAS in Electronics, BSEET preferred. A minimum of 3 years experience
programming in C/C++ and/or LabVIEW for Test Systems desired. Ability to
troubleshoot high reliability electronics, familiarity with bus control
of test equipment, experience in the design of test systems, software
planning, test procedures, and test scripting are desired. A strong
desire to learn and good interpersonal skills and written skills are
also essential to being successful in this position. Some non-standard
working hours and weekends will also be required. The individual will be
responsible for writing test system software to test high reliability
avionics units. The individual will also be responsible for hardware

A/D converters are required. A background in high-reliability Space
applications is highly desirable. Familiarization with military
standards and high reliability components are preferred. A strong desire
to learn and good interpersonal skills are also essential to being
successful in this position. Some non-standard working hours and
weekends will also be required. Responsibilities will include the
design, development, analysis and troubleshooting of electronic
equipment for use in satellite and launch vehicle applications. The
individual will be required to work closely with other engineering
disciplines including system, mechanical, manufacturing and test
engineers to provide an integrated design solution that meets all the
customer’s requirements. The individual will provide engineering support
to resolve technical issues on the production floor and identify and

converter topologies are required. A background in high-reliability
space or military applications is also highly desirable. Familiarization
with military standards and high reliability components is preferred. A
strong desire to learn and good interpersonal skills are also essential

design, development, analysis and troubleshooting of electronic

in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering and one plus year
experience. Co-op sessions with software development may be considered
as experience. Technical knowledge of programming embedded
microprocessors used for signal processing and control algorithms is
required. Knowledge of software development in Windows using Borland
C++, Visual C or equivalent is required. Technical knowledge for the
development of PC based software targeted to Windows operating systems,
DLL and driver design a plus. Knowledge of PC bus architecture as it
impacts software design and performance; familiarity using Siemens 167,
Altera NIOS II, and Motorola Cold Fire process; CAN bus and UART control
experience; and familiarity with effective software engineering
practices and software project organization are desired. The individual
will provide assistance to lead software engineers in the development of
microprocessor software and PC test software for IR thermal imaging
systems. Responsibilities include software development and the
implementation of algorithms in “C” for IR camera systems that fulfill

Reliability Engineer
00Bachelor of Science Degree: Electrical, Mechanical or Mathematics and
one year experience. Must be able to perform reliability calculations
for avionic systems. Experience performing Failure Mode and Effects
Analysis (FMEA), Reliability Block Diagram analysis and Fault tree
analysis required. Must have strong background in statistics,
probability theory, and reliability theory. Experience with safety
critical systems and Probabilistic risk assessment (PRA) desired.
Experience with Military specifications, drawing and screening
requirements desired. The individual will perform FMEAs, Fault tree
analyses and reliability calculations for high reliability electrical
systems for launch vehicles and space flight equipment. Generate reports
on analysis results, brief staff on requirements and present analysis to
customers. Will interface directly with vendors and customers to handle
piece part related issues. No direct reports, although individual will
