Ohio Congressional Representatives Attend the Official Opening Ceremony of the Newly Expanded L-3 Cincinnati Electronics Facility  

CINCINNATI, August 20, 2011 - L-3 Cincinnati Electronics (L-3 CE), an established pioneer in infrared thermal imaging, space exploration and military/defense technology, announces the completion of a 15,000 square foot expansion of its facility located in Mason, Ohio. The expansion consists of the addition of 8 class 100 (ISO5) chase and bay clean room manufacturing space to increase the already existing 230,000 sq. ft. facility. This will allow for increased manufacturing demands in their semiconductor processing capability. The semiconductors are used in the manufacture of thermal imaging sensors.
